Hea­ting and hot water are the big­gest ener­gy con­su­mers in your house­hold. A lot can be saved with pro­per main­ten­an­ce. Heat gene­ra­tors lose 10 — 20% of their effi­ci­en­cy after just one year of ope­ra­ti­on. This is direct­ly rela­ted to the fil­ling water. High ener­gy los­ses and expen­si­ve dama­ge occur in com­pact heat gene­ra­tors due to sludge, depo­sits or limes­ca­le and cor­ro­si­on dama­ge. Limes­ca­le depo­sits can very quick­ly lead to heat exch­an­gers beco­ming blo­cked or to leaks forming due to pitting.

If the poin­ter of the func­tion indi­ca­tor is in the red area, anode repla­ce­ment is due.

Sor­bOx®:
We recom­mend chan­ging the anodes every 3 years.

We recom­mend an annu­al blow-down of the cor­ro­si­on pro­tec­tion devices
(ELYSATOR®, Sor­bOx®).
